Farm(Mixed) Veterinary Surgeon Full / Part Time Positions
Glenshane Veterinary Clinics, situated in Mid-Ulster, are looking for a farm or mixed vet with a farm bias to join our friendly team.
There are 3 branches located in Maghera, Kilrea and Dungiven, literally at the foot of the Sperrins, not far from NI’s beautiful North Coast, with a great bus connection to Belfast and L’Derry and close to the airports.
If you enjoy a true mix of beef, sheep and diary veterinary work then Glenshane vets is the place you want to check out. Farm work includes TB testing, routine and emergency calls, fertility and health visits. There is also the option to do some routine companion animal work.

1 FT 4 day week, 1 in 4 late Friday and Saturday until 2pm, 1 late evening clinic per week until 7pm, No on call. Part time/ flexible working also an option.

We are a well equipped, progressive and dynamic practice with a varied caseload and clients who are keen to work up cases to a high standard. You will be working alongside a team of 5 vets, 2 cert holders- medicine, surgery and endosurgery. 2 other vets working towards certificates in surgery and imaging. Visiting ophthalmologist and cardiologist on a regular basis so options for working towards post graduate qualifications definitively an option. Good mix of first opinion and referral cases plus option of exotics including the occasional goldfish surgery if interested.

– Doppler ultrasound
– Full rigid and flexible video endoscopy suite including laparoscopic equipment,
