Mixed Vet – Kilkeel, County Down

Come to the beautiful Mourne Mountains and be part of our friendly, 4-vet-2-nurse mixed practice with Mourne Veterinary Clinic. We are a warm and welcoming team in a small, close-knit community so you would be joining a practice with a lovely, community feel.
We are looking for a mixed vet with LA bias, we can be flexible with FT/PT hours. We are ideally looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience but would be happy to take a new grad who is well-versed in large animal work.
Salary £40,000 to £60,000 DOE.
Mon-Fri 9-6pm plus 1in4 rota.
Excellent support available.
6.6 weeks paid holiday
RCVS/VDS/AVSPNI paid
Generous CPD allowance
Accommodation/vehicle available if required.

Small Animal Vet (Full or Part time) USPCA Newry

Our Newry-based practice provides an affordable veterinary service while caring for shelter animals and wildlife – making this a genuinely rewarding role. We are a busy first-opinion small animal practice located within our centre in Newry, which also houses a rehoming centre, wildlife facilities, grooming salon and pet shop supplies. You’ll enjoy a varied medical and surgical caseload – including wildlife – in a supportive environment. Our amazing vet team consists of experienced team of 3 veterinary surgeons, 3 RVNs and 2 ANAs. Our full-time contract is 35 hours (part time will be considered), typically 9am-7pm but shorter shifts can be accommodated. There is time off in lieu for overtime worked. There is no OOH and Saturdays are shared within the team. We would be open to both full-time or part-time applicants, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as they will be required to work sole charge at times, however we would be open to supporting a new graduate for the right applicant. LA Vet for Parklands Dungannon

We are currently looking for an experienced vet but we can accommodate a new graduate at Parklands Dungannon to join our 7 vet Farm team. Our farm team ranges from consultancy, herd health, fertility management and all normal fire brigade work. You would be working in a dynamic structured team with a firm career progression within a very supportive friendly environment. You will gain knowledge from our experienced team including certificate holders. Our dairy farms range from 50 cows to 1,100 cows, with the addition of sucklers, beef finishing, sheep & Camelids. We have an in-house laboratory with excellent facilities and a full team of support staff and TB vets. OOH is LA only. We will provide full support and CPD to help you achieve your goals. Come and join our team of over 40 vets.
The Deal
The total package value ranges from £47k to £75k pro rata. DOE. (Includes accommodation, company van, phone & Vet reward (bonus) scheme). Certificates and CPD strongly encouraged and supported.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Craemill Veterinary Clinic. We are a busy first opinion practice covering 2 sites in Mid Ulster (Magherafelt & Cookstown) and we can offer a flexible shift pattern with full and part time opportunities. Vets Now provide our OOH cover offering an excellent work/life balance.
At Craemill Veterinary Clinic we pride ourselves in doing the absolute best for our clients and their pets in the local community. We are a long-established family practice with an experienced team that joined IVC to augment our drive to provide the best working environment for staff and in turn optimum service to our clients. Our team is made up of 10 Vets and 15 nursing and support staff. We have purpose-built facilities including digital x-ray (inc dental), ultrasound scanners, IDEXX in-house lab etc. We have 2 certificate holders and are also a training practice for vet nurses. Our SA Clinical Director is also a Claims Adviser for the Veterinary Defence Society so we benefit from on-site support, reassurance and assistance if facing complaints or challenging situations.
We benefit from our location being only 30 minutes from Belfast and 40 minutes from the beautiful North Coast.
