We are an independently owned, 100% small animal practice, driven only by delivering exceptional levels of patient and client care. We are looking for an experienced, caring and progressive small animal vet to join us. You will join a small but experienced team of Vets. You will also be well supported by an experienced & proactive team of RVNs, ANAs and reception staff. As well as wonderful client relationships we enjoy great relationships within our team, with our collaborative approach giving the best patient outcomes and offering a positive working environment. Our united goal is to deliver thorough, contextualized veterinary care and enjoy ourselves along the way.
We are fully equipped practice, Full Idexx inhouse lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, broncho&gastro videoscope. We enjoy a great mix of medical and surgical cases within our caseload, giving opportunity to work towards your area of interest. Whilst we deal vast majority of out caseload within our team, we also work together with peripatetic vets for ophthalmology, cardiology and orthopedic surgery.
This position can be flexible to suit a full time or part time candidates.
VDS, RCVS fees paid. Salary up to £65k FTE DOE. 6 wks annual leave. No out of hours. Saturdays open 9-1 on a rota basis.

We are on the hunt for a fabulous Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis.
Main Duties
• Primary contact for clients and liaison with clinical staff.
• Provide accurate information regarding services and products to clients.
• Book appointments and managing client enquiries efficiently.
• Handle administrative tasks, including dealing with insurance queries, cash handling and end of day banking.
• Cleaning duties.
• Assist with dispensing medications.
• Handle pets when required.
Requirements
• Reception/customer service experience is essential.
• Previous experience in a veterinary practice is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills. Ideally proficient in MS Office packages and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• A genuine passion for animal care.
Most veterinary staff are in their roles due to a love of animals, and there are many opportunities to engage with lovely pets, but this role also requires empathy and patience for pet owners, often at very stressful or upsetting times for them.
The role available is up to 40 hours per week, and we are happy to discuss options with the right candidate. You will join the weekend rota, working one in five Saturdays at our Balmoral clinic. Ideally you will be flexible and able to work at any of our clinics; however you will be based mainly at our Commons Brae site.
Working hours will be between 8am and 7.30pm.

Lakeland Veterinary Services require a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our independent, locally owned, 7 vet, 2 branch mixed practice located in scenic West Fermanagh. We are an RCVS accredited practice, with our team consisting of 5 full time veterinary surgeons and 2 part time veterinary surgeons.
