We are seeking a full time or part time veterinary surgeon for our busy practice in Ballymoney, County Antrim.
Riverside Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned first opinion small animal practice located on the beautiful north coast. We pride ourselves on our customer focused approach and affordable services.

About Cedarmount We are a long established, busy small animal, primarily first opinion practice, with a small referral component. Head Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join us at Fenaghy Veterinary Clinic, in our Antrim and Ballymena branches!
The Role
The typical day involves admitting and preparing animals for surgery including monitoring patient status, anaesthesia, accurate record-keeping, pre and post-surgery observations, stock ordering, assisting vets with surgical procedures and consultations, running nurse consultations, discharging pets and helping to coach and mentor student nurses. Responsible for Nurse rota, holding regular nurse meetings, annual staff appraisals, weekly meetings with CD/PM, general running of practice, monthly idexx quality control samples, x-ray monitoring badges, stock control, assist PM organise sick cover if necessary, any other duties as required.
Your shifts will be 32.5 hours per week, working between 8am – 7pm including 1:3 weekends with no OOH. Salary up to £27,000 negotiable D.O.E.

We are an all-small animal only clinic in two busy towns – Antrim and Ballymena. We are a short drive (or bus/train journey) from the buzz of Belfast City centre or the views at the North Coast.
We run two well equipped, busy clinics with an experienced and friendly team of 8 Vets, 6 RVN, 3 ANA and 1 student nurse, 4 receptionists, 1 Practice Manager alongside our visiting specialist Ophthalmologist.
