Armagh Vet Station is seeking a full-time small animal veterinary surgeon to join our friendly, independent practice in Armagh City.
We are a modern, family-run clinic built around strong client relationships, continuity of care and practising thoughtful, evidence-based medicine. As a small team, we work closely together, support one another and believe in creating a calm, respectful place to work.
Our highly experienced nursing team are central to how we operate — skilled, proactive and genuinely supportive. We are also well equipped with modern diagnostic facilities, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly and managed to a high standard in-house.
This role would suit a vet who enjoys general practice, is confident with routine consultations and surgery, and values clear communication with clients. Some sole charge will be required, so previous small animal experience is preferred. You will, however, always be working alongside capable and engaged nurses.
The position offers:
• 40-hour week
• No out-of-hours
• Shared Saturday mornings (9am–12pm)
• A close-knit, collaborative team
• Clinical freedom without sales targets
• Modern, well-equipped facilities
Benefits include:
• Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
• Generous CPD allowance and support
• Paid professional fees
If you are looking for a long-term role in an independent practice where your input is valued and you can build meaningful client relationships, we would love to hear from you.
