Sarah Caney is an RCVS Specialist in Feline Medicine and enjoys seeing a mixture of first opinion and referral feline patients. She is internationally recognised as one of only eight veterinary specialists in feline medicine working in the UK. Alongside her clinical work and publishing, Dr Caney has worked for many years with the UK cat charity, the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB). Her work with FAB includes chairing their feline expert panel which lobbies organisations for better cat care.
Sarah will be lecturing in at our up and coming AVSPNI Small animal conference in May and her topics include ‘Cat friendly tips, blood pressure assessment in cats, preventive healthcare in cats, chronic kidney disease, osteoarthritis and cognitive dysfunction syndrome in the older cat, the anorexic cat, hyperthyroidism and Setting up and running successful feline chronic kidney disease clinics’.
