On Saturday 14th May David Church will be delivering lectures on Diabetes for both vets and nurses at the Small Animal congress at Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen. He will also speaking in some of the advance lectures on Understanding Calcium Disorders and Hypoadrenocorticism – the great pretender.

David Church BVSc, PhD, MACVSc, MRCVS
David obtained his veterinary degree from The University of Sydney and after graduation and a short spell in practice he was appointed as a small animal clinical instructor there before enrolling in a PhD programme in the Faculty of Medicine looking at various aspects of the pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus. He is now the Vice-Principal (Learning and Student Experience) at the Royal Veterinary College. He is an internationally recognised specialist in disorders of the endocrine system in dogs and cats. David’s current research interests are varied but include the underlying mechanism for the development and resolution of diabetes mellitus.
