Veterinary Nurse Remote Working – Home Vet NI
We are looking for a compassionate individual to join our team at Home Vet NI. This is a working from home, administrative role, which can be flexible around current responsibilities. The position is for one day per week as well as occasional holiday cover. There is potential for hours to increase in the future.
Duties include triaging patients over the phone, arranging appointments, liaising with our vets and crematorium, having end of life discussions with clients, and discussing the euthanasia procedure. Training will be provided and CPD can be arranged.
The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, organised and have good communication skills. IT experience beneficial although training will be provided. Experience dealing with clients facing end of life decisions is essential. The position may suit an RVN currently working part time or taking time away from clinical work. The day and hours worked can be flexible to suit individual circumstances.
Positions like this are rare in Northern Ireland for RVNs, so this is a very exciting opportunity to become a part of an expanding service helping many pet owners all over the country.

Answering phone calls with support staff and updating clients

Maintaining a clean and tidy working space
